Our Story
Since 2013, Prettypaws has proudly served the Haliburton and Bancroft communities as a family-owned grooming salon dedicated to exceptional service and personalized care. Our mission is to treat every pet like family, ensuring they receive the highest standards of grooming in a safe and loving environment. Led by owner Christopher O’Mara, our team of skilled professionals is committed to creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Prettypaws first opened in 2013 in Haliburton when Chris moved back home following the completion of his Masters degree. With a focus on treating our clients like family, and a reputation for the best care in the county we have grown into a strong team able to accommodate the needs of nearly any dog or cat!

Full Grooming Package
Our Full Grooming Package includes a thorough bath, haircut, nail trimming, and ear cleaning, leaving your pet looking and feeling their best.
Bath and Nail Trim
This service is designed for our shedding and short coated breeds that don’t need a full haircut. Includes bath, blow dry, nail trim, and ear cleaning.
Puppy’s First Groom
Introduce your puppy to grooming with our gentle and nurturing first-time groom, designed to make them feel comfortable and relaxed. Puppy’s first visit includes a bath, blow dry, nail trim, trimming of the paw pads and sanitary regions but no all over haircut. It is important for Puppy to have a positive introduction to the grooming process.
